FAA Aircraft (Drone) Registration
Hobbyists who fly drones for fun don't need a Part 107
license from the FAA, but they do need to meet other requirements: Pass the
Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST), Register the drone with the FAA using
your club's FRIA information, Join the flying club where you will fly and
finally, Fly within visual line-of-sight, Follow community-based safety
guidelines, and Fly for hobby or recreation only.
1. Here are
some requirements for FAA drone certification:

Be
at least 16 years old
·
Have
a valid government-issued photo ID
·
Be
able to read, write, speak, and understand English
·
Be
in a physical and mental condition to safely fly a drone
·
Pass

Pay a $5 registration fee that's valid for three years
o
As
a Recreational pilot you will get one registration number for all your
aircraft. Place the same number so it's visible on the outside of each of your
aircraft / drones.
o
Keep
the proof of acceptance with you. AMA Card, TRUST Safety test card and Riverside
Radio Control Club card.
o
Follow
all the rules.
o
